Our History
Limited Leasing was Established in 1970
The company started out by supplying their sister company St. Charles Sand. Later, Limited Leasing expanded operations to other plant locations on the rivers.
Through the years they have performed a variety of tasks and operations, including barge rentals and charters, dock maintenance, flood assistance, cutterhead dredging, and towing and fleeting
Jotori started in 1986
Jotori supplied material to their sister company Fred Weber Inc. Like Limited Leasing, they supplied material to dock locations.
Gateway Dredging was established in 2011
Gateway Dredging is a partnership that resulted from the merger of Limited Leasing Company and Jotori Inc.
Both companies were actively involved in dredging the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, and, due to regulatory issues and dredging constraints, it was decided that a merger was best for both companies.
After the 2011 merger, the new entity Gateway Dredging continued to supply docks throughout the area.
Currently we supply eight operations in the St. Louis area with river sand, fine sand and low lignite sand. Gateway Dredging also supports construction projects in the area.
These services include barge rental and charters, boat charters, and towing assistance. We have equipment for specialty work such as drilling jobs, painting jobs and other bridge maintenance.
In 2022, Limited Leasing assumed full control of Gateway Dredging.
Limited Leasing is part of a group of companies managed by the Bangert and Viehmann families who have been involved in the St. Louis construction business since 1945.
